I’m trying to track something down on my computer that’s bugging me. Sometimes when I wake the computer from sleep it’ll just sit there and hang for a while, doing nothing. Programs won’t start (even shells or CLI programs) and most things not already running just hang.

I unbound it from my home LDAP server and now it’s working fine. But there’s no reason it couldn’t see that server and it did it at home and away, so I’m kind of lost as to how that could have an effect. I looked at the logs on the client and server and saw absolutely nothing to indicate a pause.

Anyone seen that one?
